Nepali rupee at record low against dollar


KATHMANDU: The Nepali rupee on Monday plunged to its record low of 77.90 against the U.S. dollar, a loss of Rs. Rs 2.20 from its previous close, following the American currency’s gaining strength against the Indian rupee with which the Nepali currency is pegged.
