Karachi: Pakistan cricket team's Australian coach Geoff Lawson has reiterated that he has no intentions of resigning despite new PCB Chairman Ejaz Butt's stinging criticism of his performance.
Butt has stated repeatedly that he is not satisfied with Lawson's performance. Butt believes many other former cricketers in Pakistan are capable of doing a better job.

But Lawson told Pakistani reporters in Toronto during the four-nation Twenty20 tournament that he would not quit.
"If the Chairman wants to replace me that's his decision. But I have a contract with the board and I want to fulfill and complete it," Lawson said.
"I have no intentions of resigning as I have put in a lot of hard work with the Pakistan team," he added.

Lawson will complete a two-year contract next July but under the terms, the board can remove him at one month's notice without having to pay him any financial compensation.
Lawson said he was doing all he can to help the Pakistani team but he can't go and play on the field for the players.
